HE LIVES!  Easter is proof of God's unconditional love for us, manifested through the sacrifice of his son Jesus Christ, who brought us the hope of eternal life!  Below are some images of Easter Sunday and the annual Easter Egg Hunt that followed the service.

PALM SUNDAY ~ March 24, 2024

Our children paraded through the sanctuary waving palm branches while the congregation sang, "Hosanna, Loud Hosanna!"  A coffee & dessert bar followed the service.

Kids' Princess & Superhero Day!

We all know that God is the REAL Superhero in our lives, but it sure was fun being a princess and superhero at Salix Bethel on March 17th!  We want to thank Miss Kendall Buchkovich and her crew for making our kiddos feel extra special by putting tinsel in the princesses' hair and bringing crowns for all!

All God's Creation...

On Sunday, March 10th, our children (and adults) were able to enjoy some of God's most beautiful creations.  Dr. Brady Hamady brought his draft horses and gave cart rides to the kiddos.  Mr. Tom Beyer brought an adorable calf, little piglets, and a lamb.  Tracy Green brought her cute (and very large) rabbits.  Mr. Jay Elias brought Lizzy, a bearded dragon, who belongs to Mrs. Autumn Jones from FH Elementary.  Rick and Debbie Miller brought their 200-lb. Great Dane, Sig.  Colleen Mullen shared her rabbits and baby goats that were still being bottle fed! Finally, Tina Gaydos shared her precious, little goats with us.  THANK YOU, friends, for bringing so much happiness to many people, both young and old alike!

SALIX BETHEL CHURCH LOGO

We have unveiled our new Salix Bethel Church logo!  A lot of thought and research went into creating this logo.  Below is a brief description of the symbolism and colors used.

The cross is central, with people on both sides of the cross.  Beneath is an open Bible, and above is an arc.  The cross is a symbol of Jesus’ sacrifice…His love for us….and our salvation.  The open Bible is our foundation, the Word of God.  The people on either side of the cross represent our church family, both inside the walls of our church and those in our community.  And finally, the arc is a symbol of hope and mercy.

After researching the Biblical meaning of various colors, it was decided that green and blue fit Salix Bethel Church perfectly.  Here are the Biblical meanings behind each color:

Green symbolizes growth and renewal and represents a new beginning and restoration.  What a wonderful representation of Salix Bethel Church!  It also symbolizes prosperity, flourishing, and the resurrection that we see each Spring. Blue represents the color of the Heavens, the Holy Spirit, divinity, trust, and loyalty.  Blue, spiritually, signifies the healing power of God, and it is the most sublime color which, Biblically, represents the Word of God.

The logo was created by Kim Hostetler, who is a member of the Vision Committee.
