Missions, Near & Far

Salix Bethel Church has a strong heart for missions.  Our parishioners help support numerous missionaries financially on a monthly basis.

We also donate to many charities, both locally and worldwide, and the church ahs sponsored mission teams nationally and internationally for many years.  Some of the places our Mission Team has been . . . 

• Jamaica -- building churches

• St. Maarten -- building churches

• Antigua -- building churches

• Gulf Area (after Hurricane Katrina) -- home repairs

• Tennessee (after flooding) -- home repairs

• North Carolina (after Hurricane Irene) -- home repairs

• New Jersey (after Hurricane Sandy) -- home repairs

• South Carolina (after flooding) -- home repairs

We have also done repairs to homes in our local area, such as roofing, painting, etc.  You don't need to have a specific skill to be part of our Mission Team, just a heart for helping others!

Our goal is to be the "hands and feet" of Jesus.
